Fishing in Los Cabos
There is no doubt that fishing in the waters off Los Cabos is awe inspiring! You never know what trolling will bring up! There are four types of fishing in the Los Cabos area and if you have time, we encourage you to experience all of them;
- Serious sport fishing on a charter boat
- Fishing from a panga boat made memorable in Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" (nowadays the pangas have powerful motors)
- Fly Fishing- ever caught a rooster fish on a fly?
- Surf casting is great in the morning hours when it's only you and the fish.
All four have qualities that fishermen of all abilities can appreciate because when it is said and done, fishing is in every man's soul. Please let us know and we will be happy to make your fishing arrangements.

Kayaking Palmilla Bay
Tour San Jose Bay. Start at the beautiful Palmilla Beach where we kayak alongside the San Jose hotel. Conditions are calm and inviting and this is one of the premier locations for beginners or those who prefer an easy pace. We head back to the beach for a refreshing swim before our return.
Baja Bike Tour
We do the legwork transporting you to a secluded East Cape location where you can bicycle along a scenic desert road. Mountain bike and helmet provided. After your bike ride indulge in a snack break. We encourage families and all levels to participate. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before you return to town.
Santiago ATV Adventure
We don't want you to fight traffic on your ATV tour, which is why we prefer to transport you out of town to a beautiful desert Oasis at the town of Santiago. Here, you will have time for a dip in the hot springs or a cool fresh water pool to cool down. And we make sure you have a memorable lunch in a restaurant famous for its wonderful Mexican hospitality and delicious food.
Snorkel Cabo Pulmo
This is one of our best snorkeling locations. Cabo Pulmo is a protected marine park and a live coral reef. Upon our arrival to Cabo Pulmo we board a motorskiff and head out to the sea lion colony. These friendly mammals frolic and play as we snorkel alongside them. Next stop: a secluded beach where you can snorkel from the shoreline. Unique rock formations and photo opportunities abound. After the fun is done, we return back to the main beach by boat. You will be served a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Turtle Release
One of the most memorable experiences at Las Mañanitas and Tortuga Bay is the release of baby turtles into the Sea–and turtle release time is August to the end of October. Visitors gather on the beach, home to migrating Olive Ridley and Leatherback turtles, to assist the hatchlings on their journey for survival. 14 days after getting pregnant the female will dig one or two holes, about one and a half feet deep where she will lay 100-120 eggs. One turtle can nest 4 to 6 times a year. Nature tells us when the turtles will hatch, about 45 days from the time they were laid. It's better for them to be released at the sunset as they have a better chance to get away from predators at night. They don't breathe underwater so they swim for 7 days until they actually start feeding themselves. Saving any animal from dying is rewarding, but saving an animal from extinction feels just plain right.
Annual Whale Migration
There is no place on earth where more whales can be seen at such close range than around the western coastal waters and lagoons of the Sea of Cortez in Southern Baja. The whales like the shallow, warm waters and can easily be seen during the months of December, January, February through March. It´s a mighty experience to coexist with nature and to witness it in its purest form. The whales frolic and blow like geysers along the shores in front of the resorts, however if you are interested in taking a whale watching boat trip please just let us know and we will be happy to assist.
